Literature Text
Vigilantly awaiting the rescue
That will tear me away from this place
From this pain, this hate, I can't escape
Silently praying for rescue
To guide me to some place safe
Protection encircling, the ache erased
Arms outstretched for rescue
Ready to grasp its healing touch
Over time tears turned my heart to rust
Thankfully grateful for rescue
Repairing my fractured heart
Each kiss it's seen has left its mark
Prepared to live after rescue
The nervous excitement builds
A life ready to be fulfilled
That will tear me away from this place
From this pain, this hate, I can't escape
Silently praying for rescue
To guide me to some place safe
Protection encircling, the ache erased
Arms outstretched for rescue
Ready to grasp its healing touch
Over time tears turned my heart to rust
Thankfully grateful for rescue
Repairing my fractured heart
Each kiss it's seen has left its mark
Prepared to live after rescue
The nervous excitement builds
A life ready to be fulfilled
Literature
Looking Glass
From the other side of the looking glass
Things may appear completely different
Who knows, ugly may be seen as beautiful
Maybe a smart person from there is stupid
From this side though, things are normal
Which is why I look at the looking glass
Hoping the see a place where things vary
A place where the wind has shifted away
Literature
The sign of a poet
I write in stanzas
But hate to speak in rhyme
Though, I still do it
Most of the time
My handwriting's not the best
Yet you'd think it would
I write fairly often
But it's still not that good...
All of my emotions
Become a work of art
Good and bad critiques
Help me play my part
Literature
The things some say...
To say something's 'gay'
Because it's a conniption
Is simply not okay
Because that's not it's description
This is just one
Thing that should not be misheard
Though, it's still done
Stop the misuse, upon the world
