I've been in a good head space my mind has been free
Recently nothing's been bothering me
The problem with this is I had nothing to write
The blissful acceptance blocked my sight
The tables are turning things are troubling me now
The flow gets easier, it's freeing some how
I don't like this cycle the pain let's me speak
Silenced when I'm happy, frustrated when I'm weak

Looking Glass
From the other side of the looking glass
Things may appear completely different
Who knows, ugly may be seen as beautiful
Maybe a smart person from there is stupid
From this side though, things are normal
Which is why I look at the looking glass
Hoping the see a place where things vary
A place where the wind has shifted away

I was looking through my favorites just now and would like to reiterate how much this poem continues to speak to me. It's the artist's great dilemma. What a situation it is.
